Ironline Defenders is the kind of tower defence we recommend to people who say they don't get the genre. The maps are clean, the enemy paths are always visible, and every tower does exactly what its icon suggests. You never lose a run because the game hid information from you.
The depth lives in the upgrade tree. You pick a specialization early — burst damage, slowing fields, or armor shredding — and it changes how you place everything afterward. We replayed the same map three ways and each felt like a different puzzle.
Later waves get genuinely hard, and the game expects you to sell and rebuild mid-battle rather than just spam towers. That flexibility is what kept us coming back.
